Easter and a Small Persons Christening

Hope everyone's had a fabulous Easter and hasn't eaten to much chocolate. We have had to ration it all its gone in our outside room so we cant get it unless we are willing to go out in the cold. Its the only way to stop us eating and eating and eating.

Made worse because we have cake coming out of our ears... Cupcakes, Christening cake and Birthday cake.

Smalls persons Birthday cake made by her Daddy and decorated by her godmother. 

And smalls Christening cake, which was the top layer of our wedding cake, was made by her Nana and slightly drunkly decorated by myself. 

Small and I on the day, there will be a much better picture of the dress to follow. 

But Smalls Aunty was made to decorate eggs of the table decoration.

These are lovely and easy to make all you need is a Styrofoam eggs, acrylic paint, ribbon, pins, cocktail sticks and decorations. I know its a little late for this year but trying to find 5 mins before the christening was hard.
1) Paint a base coat on the eggs allow to dry.
2) Decorate your eggs how ever you want and allow to dry.
3) Pin folded over ribbon to the top to hang.

My other craftyness was a little box for one of the godmothers gifts. A fabric covered box with a little poem.

I want to know why when I do pretty writing on paper its perfect and when I put it on a cake it ends up drunk.
